We have new spelling words every week. Our spelling words relate to our story in reading class and we also practice them during our centers and during class time. It is important that we continue building our writing and spelling is very important. Spelling tests will be given every Friday and homework is given throughout the week. Spelling homework includes writing the words, using them in sentences, spelling worksheets, using the words in a story, or writing the definitions of the words.
